The "Arc Light" is a one off prototype frigate, of modular design, sharing similar plan form to the much liked, versatile and battle proven "Rifter" class - but of entirely new structural build and technical design.

"Arc Light" features state of the art technology, rumoured to have it's origins deep within Wormhole space.

It is believed the "Arc Light" is currently serving as a test bed for an even more advanced, third generation frigate under development.

If you cut the "cockpit" section away and made something new, maybe a little hurricane-y / loki-like, keep the rear wings and the engine fronts, you'd have a brand new ship.

T3 Rifter, I would fly this anyday. And to those saying "Star Wars", as if the Rifter didn't look like an X-Wing with its s-foils closed anyway.
